Hello Friends and Supporters,
We are Denise and Oksana, two passionate individuals on a mission to bring transformative change to the Siankaba Community Trust School in Zambia. Our goal is to not only teach, but to inspire and empower the children of Siankaba, a rural village where challenges such as lack of basic amenities, disease, and poverty are part of everyday life.
OurVision
In September 2024, we will travel to Zambia to volunteer at the Siankaba Community Trust School, led by the dedicated headteacher, Malindi Lubinda. Our project includes teaching junior photography skills, physical activity and martial arts, skills that offer creative expression and self-defence, promoting both mental and physical well-being.
Why It Matters
Siankaba is a place where hope is scarce. The majority of residents are subsistence farmers, struggling to provide for their families. The children, despite their challenging circumstances, are eager to learn and grow. Your support can light up their world with opportunities they never imagined.
Our Commitment
In 2023, Denise visited Zambia and was deeply moved by the resilience and spirit of the Siankaba community. This experience ignited a commitment to return and make a tangible difference. Together with Oksana, we are determined to equip these young minds with skills that go beyond traditional education, fostering creativity, confidence, and self-reliance.

This fund will help us to travel to Zambia and, most importantly, provide essential equipment for the school – from cameras for the photography classes to gear for the martial arts training, and books.
